Lady Antebellum members, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood were all smiles while posing for photographers on April 19th, 2015. The band was attending the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, which were held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. While the group was traveling in their tour bus to Dallas, the rear end of the bus caught on fire. It was a very fast-paced event, and Hillary stated they had to evacute very fast, which they all did and are all thankfully ok. They lost a lot of possessions in the event though, including Hillary’s dress for the ACM‘s (which was able to be replaced), outfits for this past weekend, and other miscellaneous items. One thing that Hillary can’t seem to talk about without crying is the fact that her Bible was untouched. The band was up for the Vocal Group of the Year award, which ultimately went to Little Big Town, but they did put on an amazing performance during the event.
